Middle Fork Logs

I don't know if anyone is planning to run the Middle Fork Salmon early season, but apparently there are logs at Lake Creek, and Pistol is not currently runnable as shown in the photo. Here is a link to the article http://www.idahostatesman.com/235/story/81248.html

Ba Ba Blackfoot

Pulling streamers and spoons on the Blackfoot yielded a few nice trout Saturday.

Middle Fork Permit

After taking a closer look at my number of vacation days, I think I am going to send back in my May 21 Middle Fork Salmon Permit. I don't know if the road will be open and I don't have a clue what the conditions will be like, but if anyone wants the permit, let me know before the end of next weeek and we can try to coordinate something...
