New Deck +

Sorry Jimbob, Connie and I went for a long hike on Saturday, but forgot the camera. We woke up and the smoke had cleared out and it was actually cool outside. It was a sad day though...the first hike that I had to leave Miles behind since I didn't think he would make it. He spent the day napping under a tree, and I don't even think he noticed we were gone. He's getting old.

As for the photos, when Groover and Connie aren't out floating, we try to be productive. The deck is a new addition. Not finished yet, but I can sit on it and drink beer. In the upper photo, I tried to attack that slab with a spud bar, which only caused me pain and frustration. For $13/hour, the jackhammer was the shit! Got the old crap removed, set the forms, and will be pouring concrete tomorrow. Let the good times roll.

My question, where the hell are Walt and Heff?
