2 of our Steelies. The one with the missing cunk is mine and was a little over 37".
They never look so nice after being in a platic bag for a day. We wound up with ony 4 in the cooler. Slow fishing but it is picking back up again. Anyone interested in meeting up on the Clearwater for steelhead in the next couple of weeks let me know.

Nice fish Cleaver! I'd love to get over there and bring home some steelhead and at the same time not spend a cent in Idaho. Hell, I'd even buy my Idaho fishing license in Montana just to prove a point.
When are you going again?
You'd have to pay the tow truck driver and the tire shop.
Yep, that was an expensive horrendous Idaho vacation experience. Stinkin Idaho!
I was hoping to have the trailer done this weekend, that hasn't happened. I should have it painted and done next weekend so at the earliest it would be the following weekend. We'll have to keep an eye on the fishing reports and see if they are biting still. The salmon season looks to be the biggest in years, over 140000 salmon are on their way. More salmon than steelies I've heard. That would open up this summer.
How bout ripping some 25 lb salmon lips!!!! Eddie, you could buy all supplies in MT and fill up in Lolo to avoid spending money in Idaho! ANdrea say she might go if she doesn't have a trial. It would be great to get a big group of us up there ripping lips. Bring boat and your anchor setup. I use a level line w 17 lb test on a 8'6" GL2 and have a spinning setup for bobber fishing also. 7 or 8 weight flyrods work too.
I'm all about it Cleaver! When and where?
We'll have to look at doing it in a couple of weeks depending on work load. Fishing is a little slow right now but should pick up. We could meet near Kameia?? Or thereabouts, drop me an email.
