Been pretty quiet. Anybody doing anything? This was not from a moving vehicle, road, or tree stand. Spot and stalk... and no I wasn't hunting in jeans.
That is a classic "Pennsylvania" pose too...drag gutted deer into the yard, change into blue jeans, dog in the background, try to bend rigormortized head into "lifelike" position. Capturing it all for posterity....now my photo on the other hand....except for my ugly ass sorta ruining it is more tastefully done....heh-heh
As I understand your deer already ducked and froze as you were spotted in the tree, thus lowering the vitals prior to the shot. She probably saw your shiney rubber boots and two toned style of camo. Were you planning to check irrigation pipe after hunting?

I guess I did get it in 10th grade. Wow, that makes it 20 years old. The broadheads are not that old.

Love the tasteful blood dripping from the nose on yours. Did you reflect and say, "that's a beautiful, healthy animal." just like the hunting shows?
I left it as evidence of where you're sposed to hit them...in the lungs, not the spine.
