Interesting Quote

This quote was in the newspaper this morning in an article about cap and trade reducing greenhouse gasses. This individual who is quoted is identified as running a conservative issues website, which explains why my dog might have a bit more common sense. Judy Martz and Dan Quayle are going to be jealous of the brilliance of this statement:

Blane Dillon of Nye said he is for helping the environment but against cap and trade. "The environment needs to be saved but not at the expense of humans," he said.

My point is that it is going to take some effort and expense on the part of humans to better the environment or even maintain it as it is. The environment doesn't need to be saved, nor does the planet...they'll both be fine. Humans just won't be able to exist in the environment if we don't take action towards minimizing the amount of pollutants we continue to pump into the environment.

Alright then, now you can fire back with some right wing Idaho viewpoint...or maybe you should listen to some Fox News or Rush to get your A-Game on first.

Ed....I said "I'll bite"...meaning I'll throw something out there to see your response....but that was like fishing for bluegill with a worm...not much sport. Here is my retort...I see you've already borrowed from it yourself, enjoy:
