So we headed to the Pioneers. We wanted to camp on the Big Hole Friday night, but got out of the car and the mosquitoes were so thick we headed to high ground in the Pioneers. Although there are a lot of RV'ers (I guess we now qualify as RV'ers), the Pioneers are awesome. We'll be back...
On the way to Coolidge Ghost town...
Smoked whitefish, cream cheese, cucumber on a wheat cracker...I brought enough food to bring 10 of us.
Nice views...on the way to Elkhorn Hot Springs. The hot springs were warm, but aesthetically, I'd rather go to others.
Signing the register for Coolidge ghost town. About 3/4 mile hike, and pretty neat.
The Wise River. Three bites, and one rainbow. It was a dink, but it was a fish!
Jr. found the axe.
The Lupine and Indian Paintbrush were in bloom

You sure are getting your money's worth outta the camper...just think what you could have been doing with the pontoon boat!
Why do all the photos of your RV campsite look the same.....and why do you keep taking picutes of them??
What do you suppose Jr. was thinking there???
The photos are completely different. You just don't have an eye for detail. Note the blooming lupine in this one and the aluminum rapid shelter in the other.
Jr is probably thinking that this axe is the coolest thing in the whole world and cannot wait to hit uncle Philly with it.
The photos are a little funky since I tried to resize them, The I tried to undue the resizing and it made it worse. Oh well, you get the point.
