Time for the Rivers!

The 2008 Turkey season lasted all of 15 minutes...took me longer to find all my gear than it did to call this big double beard in. Two sets of yelps and he came at ten yards in full strut and drumming. Pretty cool!

Notice our house in the background. It's a lot further than it looks...big canyon in between.

Now it's time to start Kayaking!

Good stuff! Lochsa is still down and I'm feeling the itch to go turkey hunting myself. Vibb, you want to out east in a week or so? There are a few of us going. I thought that you were on a cruise or something right now?

I'm in Belize from the 19th to the 26th. After that, I'm all over it. Thought you were floating the Smith with the the icebergs.

no water on the Smith for my April 16th launch. The ice dams melted and FWP opened it back up a few days ago. I'm going on the 9th of May.

Nice bird man. Sorry to top your post. Funny to think I shot that thing 20 minutes from the house and these guys are gonna drive 6-7 hours to the Custer.
