Turkey '09

Friday night...took off early from work to go chase the same two gobblers that have been giving me the slip for the last week. Finally was able to get close enough and set up. A few soft yelps and lots of patience paid off. Watched him coming in strutting and gobbling for about 200 yards before making the shot at about 35 or so. Pert-darn exciting.

Oh yeah...we made the front page of the Clearwater Progress (newspaper) with photos of last week's Lochsa adventure. Thanks April!!!

New ride!!

10 year old Maravia bucket boat. Other than a couple of patches(and holes in the floor I need to patch) it's was a steal at $800! Came with the frame, two thwarts, extra valve, patching material, cargo net and mesh drop bag.
